SharePoint Online news digest email is a new Office 365 feature. We’ll begin rolling this feature out in the next few days.

How does this affect me?
Users will be able to quickly create a clean news digest by selecting the desired news articles they wish to roll up into a consolidated Email to be sent to the users/groups of their choosing. The news articles appear as article previews with thumbnails and a glimpse at the body text of each article with links to take a reader to the full article.
We’ll be gradually rolling this out to Targeted Release organizations in mid-March, and we anticipate rollout completion in the coming months.
