With Outlook on the web, you can now drag and drop emails into group mailboxes. This is a new Office 365 feature. We’ll begin rolling this update out over the course of the next few weeks.
We’re currently working on building this feature into Outlook for Windows 2016 as well. You’ll receive a separate Message Center notification when the update becomes available.

How does this affect me?
You can now drag email messages and conversations from your personal mailbox to the group mailbox in Outlook on the web, and any group member will be able to read them and participate in the conversation.
We’ll be gradually rolling this update out to our First Release customers in early November. Standard Release customers should expect to receive the update in late December.
What do I need to do to prepare for this change?
You don’t need to do anything, but may consider updating your user training, and notifying your helpdesk. Please click Additional Information to learn more.
