We’ve made it easier for you to migrate your public folders to an Office 365 group. There are a number of advantages that Office 365 Groups offer over public folders in many scenarios.

How does this affect me?
You can now use a batch migration process to move your public folders (both online and on-premises) to an Office 365 group.
This is not a forced migration, and you can choose to migrate your public folders at your own pace.
