Creation of currency fields in modern SharePoint lists is a new Office 365 feature. You’ll begin seeing this feature in the following weeks.
How does this affect me?
This feature will allow users to create currency fields in modern lists by clicking the ‘+’ next to the column headers, and customize existing Currency fields using the context menu associated with the column.
We’ll begin gradually rolling this out to First Release customers in late October, and the roll out will be completed by the end of November.
