We are releasing an update to the filters pane that will allow list and library metadata navigation to be implemented in the modern filters pane. Previously, the use of metadata navigation forced these pages to remain in “classic” mode.
How does this affect me?
We are adding a new filter behavior to the filters pane. We are also removing one of the remaining causes behind the list and library view automatically staying in “classic” view.
We’ll be gradually rolling this out in the following days, and the rollout will be completed by the end of July.
What do I need to do to prepare for this change?
Admins who wish to remain in “classic” mode need to ensure that the library or the organization, as appropriate, is set to use “classic” view only. Please click Additional Information to learn more.
