Based on your feedback, we’re updating how sharing mails are sent in SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business. We’ll begin rolling this feature out in the next few days.
How does this affect me?
For the past few months, we have been sending sharing mails from no-reply@sharepointonline.com. Based on your feedback, we will be changing this behavior to send mails from the sharing user’s mailbox, so long as that user has an Exchange Online mailbox. If the user does not have a mailbox, we will continue to send mail from the no-reply@sharepointonline.com.
We’ll be gradually rolling this out to customers in June, and the roll out will be completed by the end of July.
